Oxford and Cambridge Club North Front Façade
London

On this project, we worked closely with the clients and the architect to carry out a full restoration of the front façade. We scraped off years and years of built up paint and reinstated the decorative parts of the building with a sympathetic plaster and paint from Keim. Many of the areas were replastered enhancing the buildings’ features and restoring them to their former glory. We restored all the decorative parts that were in Portland stone with Keim. Many of the dentals were deemed unsafe so we removed over half of them and new ones were modeled from Portland Stone and replaced.  Keim has enhanced condensation resistance which makes it extremely durable and weather resistant. It is incombustible and combines the benefits of classic mineral paint with ease of application for both previously painted and mineral substrates. Perfect for organic, mixed substrates, and mineral surfaces. The rest of the building was painted in Dulux Weathershield in colour-matched paint so that it all read as one. Finally, we added touches of gold leaf at the lower level to show off the buildings’ fine features.
