Private House – Marmorino polished plaster living room and bar

The brief here was to create something really striking and individual. We worked closely with both the interior designer and clients on this project to produce a totally unique finish. This living room and bar needed a really out going, bold feel to it, a space for adults to get away from the kids. Using marmorino polished plaster we created texture in the finish. This allowed us to use many different coloured metallics in a wash over the top to highlight the textures. The result was something fit for a party room. It worked especially well with the sofa and emphasised the brass fittings on the bar. Both client and designer were delighted with the outcome, and tell me it is a much loved party space.
